Win Money Online

Filed under: Competitions — Warin Skalerponi @ 1:50 pm

You may not realize it but there are so many different ways to win money online. Many people have been using the internet to enter surveys and contests. Drawings and casinos are another popular way to win. Just be careful what ever method you prefer.

You can win a couple of dollars to many thousands of dollars in several of these win money online contests. Just realize that the odds of winning are about the same as any other contest you may enter by other means.

Web-based casinos are a way to win money online but I don’t recommend them. They don’t seem to be safe and are not legal in the U. S. They’re fully rigged against the person and the house has a massive edge.

Contests are a popular way to win money online. If you have to pay cash to enter, try to find the free contests first. Contests in general have thousands of entrants and your odds of winning are about the same as with regular offline contests.

There are several cash sweepstakes where you can win money online that people enter. Some of these are a drawing and usually all you have to enter is basic information. You may also be entered from another contest you applied to.

The percentages of winning rely on the quantity of entrants. These sometimes have better percentages of winning than several of the other strategies. Sometimes the number of winners is large but the payouts are smaller.

You may also win money online by completing surveys. These surveys often only take a minute or two to fill out and then you’re essentially entered into a money sweepstakes. If you are filling out any survey, offer, or contest to win money online, just be careful with your private info like your credit card number.

Some people who stay at home with their children actually fill out surveys and enter contests for a living to win money online. This takes a lot of time and patience, and is definitely not feasible for most people in today’s economy. However, it may be possible if you are persistent and patient enough.

There’s little risk in filling out surveys and you usually just need to submit very general info to start. People have been filling out surveys and entering contests for years and those are generally the safest ways to win money online.

Warin has written another very practical article that you can browse before you fill out anything online, so make sure you check Warin Skalerponis blog to win money online for the remainder of this article. For a limited time you can get a lot more information. Visit us to receive your win money online cash sweepstakes information. .

Top 10 Non Sporting Trophies and Awards

Filed under: Competitions — Maria Forbes @ 6:26 am

There are many reasons why people will be presented with an award or trophy. Along with the more conventional trophies and awards presented for sporting excellence such as gold, silver and bronze Olympic medals there are other non sporting ones that can be presented. In this article we take a look at what some may consider to be the top 10 non sporting trophies and awards that can be presented today.

1. Academy Awards – Also more commonly referred to as the Oscars people involved in the world of movies would like to be presented with one of these human stylized awards. Normally the American Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences will give these out in March each year and is one of the longest running award ceremonies in the world today.

2. Hugo Awards – This award is named after Hugo Gernsbeck who founded the pioneering science fiction magazine known as Amazing Stories. Each year awards are presented to those who from the previous year have produced the best science fiction or fantasy works. This one of the top 10 non sporting trophies and awards has been presented annually since 1955.

3. Victoria Cross – There are many medals that military personnel in the UK and the Commonwealth Countries can be presented with but the highest decoration that has been awarded is the Victoria Cross. This is the one that will be presented to such members of the armed forces who have shown extreme bravery when faced with their enemy. The medal was introduced in 1856 and since then awarded to 1,353 individuals. However, after the Second World War only a further 13 of these medals have been awarded to members of the British and Australian army.

4. Military Cross – This medal will be presented to military personnel in British or Commonwealth armed forces when they have carried out an act or acts of exemplary gallantry when against an enemy. There have been several times since 1979 when this actual medal has been awarded to military personnel posthumously.

5. George Cross – This particular non sporting trophy is presented to civilians as well as to members of the UK and Commonwealths armed forces. This is one that is presented to those who perform an act of bravery whilst not in conflict and is the counterpart of the Victoria Cross.

6. Queens Gallantry Medal – This medal came into being in 1974 and replaced the Colonial Police Medal for Gallantry, The British Empire Medal for Gallantry and the British Empire for Gallantry medals. This is a medal that is awarded to both civilian and military personnel who have carried out an act of extreme bravery.

7. BAFTA’s – This is the award presented like the Oscars each year and is for both film and television. The BAFTA award looks like a theatrical mask rather than a person and was designed by the American sculptor Mitzi Cunliffe in 1955.

8. BRIT Awards – Most often called the BRITS these are presented each year by the British Phonographic Industry to those involved in the world of music. This is a show that is watched by millions each year not only to see their favorite singers perform but to see how badly the show is presented.

9. Nobel Peace Prize – This is probably along with the Oscars the most well recognized of the top 10 non sporting trophies and awards presented. Each year the Nobel committee produces a short list of candidates for this honor. There have been some well known names that have received this prize such as Nelson Mandela and which was bequeathed by the Swedish Industrialist and inventor Alfred Nobel.

10. The Man Booker Prize – This is one of the top 10 non sporting trophies and awards presented each year for the best original full length novel to be written in the English language. The candidates who can be presented with this prize must be a citizen either of Ireland, Zimbabwe or the Commonwealth of Nations. Even those who don’t get awarded with this prize are happy to be even nominated for it.

These trophies and awards are some of the most famous in the world at the moment. There are some trophies and awards which are a bit more crazy, for example those a trophy is often given to winners of crazy golf competitions which can be a lot of fun – but be warned some people take their crazy golf competitions seriously!

Early Chess Tournaments – From Anderssen to Zukertort

Filed under: Competitions — David Artstone @ 4:17 pm

Slate and Artstone – The birth of competitive chess happened in London in 1851 with what many consider to be the world’s first modern chess tournament.

At the time chess had been rising in popularity in Europe steadily for over 400 years. People had started to think philosophically and strategically about the game, and to analyze it using mathematical formulas. Chess manuals were being published, and chess problems were a regular part of many newspapers weekly additions.

The tournament in London was the first international competition where grand masters came to compete with one another. The winner of the tournament was a surprise, as it was taken by the German representative Adolf Anderssen. A bold player Anderssen was known for his fierce attacks and showy style of play, which often intimidated his opponents. While considered strategically shallow by today’s standards, his method of daring and fierce offense became the popular way to pay for the era, and heavily influenced the development of stress strategy in coming years. This is demonstrated but games such as Anderssens Immortal game, or Murphys Opera games, which were both short and involved a high number of casualties.

Anderssen was beaten several times in his career, most notably by American Paul Murphy. A chess prodigy, Murphy had a short but sparkling career, in which is intuitive skill for developing attacks gave added depth to the strategic nature of the sport.

Though London had held what was considered the first modern chess tournament in 1851, it wasn’t until 1886 that the tradition of the world chess championship, which was to be played between the two top players in the world developed. This started when Wilhelm Steinitz, considered one of the leading chess theoreticians in the world, defeated the German master Johannes Zukertort.

The world chess championship was thereafter held informally, with the challenger having to defeat whoever the incumbent winner is to take the crown. This is a tradition which has continued, in an almost unbroken line, to this day.

This article about chess and the history of chess was written by Jim Slate and is brought to you by http://PebbleZ.com – Designers and manufacturers of a wide range of stone chess sets Their chess collection includes marble, onyx, fossil stone, and imported alabaster pieces, all made from real natural stones.

How Winning Competitions Prepares You For Life

Filed under: Competitions — Trevor Johnson @ 5:01 am

When you start winning competitions of all kinds you tend to learn a few things about life. We live in a world that can be extremely competitive. Those who thrive on the opposing forces of competition tend to be that way about just about everything in their life from their careers to their kids to their homes. Being able to adequately compete is not just about being a sports enthusiast or knowing how to play chess really well.

There are some people that thrive in competition; however for those that do not it might be beneficial for you to understand how the competitive mind works. Or least you should understand the things that will help you excel in these arenas; especially if you do not naturally excel in these areas.

Having some self-knowledge is invaluable when it comes to competition. If you are vying for a new job position, you will be up against other people that you may have some or little knowledge about those you are running against. After all, you’re competing against all the other job applicants even though it’s not formally declared as a competition.

Some of us become highly intimidated when we realize the accomplishments of the opposition. In such cases it is best to focus on your own qualities that can help to push you ahead. Others need to know what they are facing and so they want to find all of the possible information they can on the competition. In such cases you are usually seeking out their weaknesses.

Finding ways to motivate yourself into success is not that hard. You can learn to use motivation to spur onward even when things are particularly difficult. The underdog knows how to score because they know how motivate themselves. Focusing hard on the qualities that set you ahead can easily be a motivator. Wanting it more than your opponent can be another motivator.

Make sure that you are in the best mental and physical condition that you can be in. Regardless of whether it is a physical competition or not, you need to be always on the top of your game. Stay focused and try to be prepared for anything that may come your way. Winning competitions is due largely to a belief in yourself and your ability to be on top of your game.

What You Need To Know About Entering Competitions Online

Filed under: Competitions — Trevor Johnson @ 5:25 pm

Everywhere you look on the internet these days someone wants to give you something in exchange, it would appear, for nothing. However, whilst entering competitions is a great deal of fun and, can certainly be lucrative for some, there are a few things to be aware of.

Firstly of course; it is being aware of scams. If you think the offer is too good, it probably is. However, it does not take too long to find out whether the operation is legitimate. Just apply a little common sense really.

There are many reasons why companies run such amazing competitions but, as a rule, they are in it for some reason other than to simply reward you. Often they are connected to special offers, or simply in order to garner your contact details for marketing purposes.

Quite often however, they are created purely as a money making exercise. Naturally, an entry fee will be incurred, and it is by making more from the fees than the prize or prizes cost that they are able to make a profit. Just because this is the case, should not detract you from entering competitions.

However, it is highly likely that you will be contacted in some way from the information you give. As a result, you should always create a standalone email address to use for entering competitions. It may also be worth having a pay as you go cell phone number to use.

Above all else, you should ensure you are happy with all the terms and conditions. Failure to read these are the cause of many problems so, though it takes time, it is always worth it.

The more competitions you enter of course, the more you are likely to win; and the more comfortable you are with the Ts and Cs. These tend not to vary a great deal, and you soon pick up the knack of knowing what areas to read especially.

A common problem people seem to have with entering competitions online is not finding out who has won. However, people do actually win these competitions, and a list of winners should be available from the organizers on request.

Winning Systems With E-lottery

Filed under: Competitions — Thomas Fraderyck @ 9:09 am

The E-lottery has been around since 2002, playing as a member of a lottery syndicate can come with a significant-odds advantage markedly if the syndicate has a larger quantity of people taking part. However, being a member of a lottery syndicate does have its downside though, which is that the prize Jackpot is shared between all members of the syndicate equally, Therefore, the more syndicate members there are, the less cash each of these members will obtain, but playing together in this manner allows each member of the syndicate a greater number of winning chances while at the same time making sure expenditure is kept as low as possible.

A powerful combination involving the strength of numbers and on-line flexibility has given those who participate in e-lottery syndicate groups something of a head start over others. Due to the way that the approach is set up, the UK lottery promoters estimate that as many as one in every four jackpots is won by a syndicate. Organizers of e-lottery syndicate groups seek to play on the convenience of membership, as you do not need to find players by yourself to get into a group with you, rather you will be put into every draw with 49 other members who are selected on your behalf.

The UK National lottery syndicate from e lottery, gives you the chance to play the UK lottery with increased chances of winning. Everyone knows that playing in a syndicate gives you better odds of winning, and the elottery syndicate increases your odds from 1 in– millions to just 1 in 1.9 million, this is an incredible difference in odds.

The beauty of this form of online gaming is that you do not have to be resident in the hosting country to take part. Up to 200,000 people have been sufficiently impressed to join e-lottery syndicate groups so far. You can now buy your tickets online for the National Lottery from any number of internationally illustrious lottery ticket sales agents.

Some people point to figures telling them that conventional lottery methods and other gaming schemes are losing ground for a variety of reasons. Yet as we turn to the Internet in increasing numbers on a daily basis, we are looking for anything which helps to streamline and make our lives easier. As such, the e-lottery syndicate organizers have stepped up to the plate and even allow you to set up your own dedicated website, maintaining your member profile and analyzing your performance over a certain amount of time.

The lottery ticket purchasing population must match six numbers to win the national lottery jackpot. Yet, an e lottery national lottery on-line syndicate has only to match five numbers to win the top prize; this is since the 6th number is forever assured in every draw owed to the fact that all the variables of this number have been provided for.

As a player of a lottery syndicate you enjoy a significant advantage over those purchasing lotto tickets the traditional way.

How to Choose Golf Shoes

Filed under: Competitions — Rhys Jones @ 5:47 pm

Your swing may change with time, your accuracy and distance will improve with practice and strength, and you will become deadly accurate with a putter in time, but you will always do these things while standing on your own two feet and they can get tired.

So, your feet need to be comfortable! Have you ever developed a blister while walking or running? It’s all you can think about and it ruins the experience of what you are doing. Don’t let uncomfortable shoes ruin your game of golf.

This is one area where you shouldn’t let your desire to save money make the decision for you. You will be wearing these shoes many times over a long time and they should be considered a good investment in your game of golf.

Comfort, not cost, should be your biggest concern when you are buying shoes. Your foot should not move at all at the heel when you walk, yet your toes shouldn’t feel constrained. Have your shoes fitted professionally and walk around in them before you actually buy them.

Serious golf shoes should be waterproof so that your feet remain dry under damp conditions. Good socks are important too; they will take perspiration away from you feet, keeping your feet dry and comfortable.

All golf courses forbid the use of metal spikes on golf shoes in an effort to protect their vulnerable greens. Purchase shoes that allow you to change the rubber spikes easily, and while you’re doing that, purchase a few extra spikes as you never know when you may lose one. You should also replace the spikes when they become worn.

You have many things to think about whilst playing your round of golf, but your feet shouldn’t be one of them. When it comes to golf shoes, quality counts, honestly.

If you are thinking about buying new golf shoes, or if you are just into your game of golf, please go along to our website called Golfing Tips for Beginners

Filed under: Competitions — Michael Parker @ 12:21 pm

Christmas parties make Christmas season more fun. Often during these times, people attend a lot of these gatherings together with their families. Their work, church, neighbors, family and friends are often the ones who always put up a party for them to attend to and meet other people. And at these events, the hosts are responsible for making the time enjoyable.

Prior to the party, hosts would prepare the delightful foods. And the food served is in accordance to whether the party is daytime or nighttime. The hosts prepare finger foods, appetizers, sandwiches, barbeque, steak and more. For the drinks, beers, a variety of wines, and plenty of fruit juices to choose from are served. But not only foods do the planners prepare but also the decorations. Dcor is important as it brings the right atmosphere to the party. Additionally, to add excitement to sweets lovers and children, they would scatter Christmas sweets around.

Euro Lotto – Strength in Numbers Has A Huge Advantage

Filed under: Competitions — Thomas Fraderyck @ 5:58 pm

There have been many multi-millionaires created, since the launch of the Euro Millions and it is also known as the Euro Lotto – a lottery organization within the European community. In 2005, a lady from rural Ireland won the first ever Jackpot winning 115 million playing this game.

In June 2009 a lucky lady from Spain won the jackpot prize of 126 million, she was the first single player to have won the Euro lottery. Apart from Switzerland, there is no tax put on any of the prize money including the jackpot. The winners are picked out every Friday evening in the French capital of Paris. Tickets cost only euro 2.00 or euro 3.00 for the ‘plus’ option in Ireland. Tickets can be bought in Spain, United Kingdom, France, Austria, Belgium, Ireland Luxembourg, Portugal and Switzerland.

To play the Euro Lotto you need to choose seven winning numbers, as with most of the lottery games. The Euro Lottery game uses two sets of balls: 1 set comprises balls numbered one to fifty from a machine called the Stresa, where five winning numbers are chosen, the second set comprises of balls one to nine, where two additional lucky star numbers are chosen, from a machine called the Paquerette.

Euro lotto rules are few, and so long as you are generally over’ years of age and reside in one of the participating countries – Austria, Belgium, France, Ireland, Luxembourg, Portugal, Spain, Switzerland and UK, then you can buy your tickets before the deadline and take part. The draw is every Friday evening in Paris, France and is looked forward to, with keen anticipation by the tens of millions of contestants.

Although Euro millions is by no means the oldest lottery in the world, Euro millions is without doubt one of the biggest and most popular. In fact, it has been so successful that it is being used as a model for an even bigger World Lottery that will be launched at some point in the future. Right now you’d find it very difficult to find any lottery that has what it takes to beat the fun and excitement of playing this game.

The United Kingdom, France and Spain were involved initially, but lotteries from six additional European countries subsequently joined the Euro millions draw on 8 October 2004. The individual countries involved with Euro lotto also maintain healthy national lottery campaigns, involving a myriad of additional options and ideas with members playing from-3 different countries around the world e-lottery is fast becoming a global phenomenon!

The pooling of resources among all the countries has undoubtedly created the platform for the Euro lotto success. Within the United States, similar games have been created involving several individual states to good effect. The United States has one of the most extensive lottery systems in the world. Nearly every individual state in America has a lottery and there are several progressive lotteries – or multi-state lotteries of which jackpots are always in the high millions of dollars.

Roll-overs always attract the attention of the public, and it isn’t difficult to understand why. If the idea of winning a couple of million is exciting, the idea of winning a lottery roll-over jackpot worth 10, 15 or 20 million is even more so, if you’re the sharing type then a lottery rollover win would allow you to give a few million to your family and friends and still have plenty left for yourself. If you aren’t the sharing type then the same lottery rollover win would enable you to shop until you drop not once or twice, but for years to come!

Finding information about euro lotto winning numbers is easily obtainable on the net, but then, if you want something a little extra please see our “syndicate numbers” and obtain all the news from all the worldwide lotto’s.
